1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how SubhDev handles information when you use the website, editor, document export features, and contact form.

The current version of SubhDev is intentionally local-first. The editor does not require an account.

2. Your documents

Documents created in the current local-first editor are saved in your browser using local browser storage. They are not cloud-synced to a SubhDev account because account and cloud document features are not currently part of the product.

When you export a PDF, the document content must be sent to the SubhDev PDF-rendering service so the PDF can be generated. The rendering response is returned to your browser. The application is designed not to treat exported document content as a permanent cloud document store.

Important: Clearing browser storage, changing browsers, or using another device may remove or make locally saved documents unavailable.

3. Contact and feedback submissions

If you submit the contact form, SubhDev stores the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, feedback category, document type, and message.

This information is used to respond to support requests, understand product feedback, investigate bugs, and improve SubhDev.

4. Technical and service data

The website and hosting infrastructure may process ordinary technical data required to deliver the service, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, request logs, and error information.

If analytics or additional monitoring tools are added later, this policy should be updated before those tools are used to collect additional data.

5. Data retention

Locally saved documents remain in your browser until they are deleted by you, removed by the application, or cleared by browser/device storage controls.

Contact and feedback submissions may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate issues, understand product feedback, and maintain appropriate support records.

6. Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid submitting information that is unusually sensitive unless it is necessary for your use of the service.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may change as SubhDev evolves, especially if accounts, cloud storage, analytics, payments, or additional integrations are introduced.

Material changes should be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.

8. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy can be submitted through the contact page.
